# How do I make my phone ring first?

> Configure your AI to only answer if you miss the call.

## Steps

**1.** Go to **Settings** then **Call Routing** in your dashboard.

**2.** Select **Ring phone first**.

**3.** Enter the phone number you want to ring.

**4.** Set the ring timeout — how many seconds your phone rings before forwarding to the AI (default is 15 seconds).

**5.** Click **Save**.

Now, when someone calls your Revti number, your phone will ring first. If you do not answer within the timeout period, the call automatically transfers to your AI receptionist.
