# How do I add notes to a call?

> Add your own notes to any call record for future reference.

## Overview

You can add notes to any call record in your dashboard. This is useful for tracking follow-up actions, recording outcomes, or adding context that your team needs.

## How to add notes

**1.** Go to **Calls** in your dashboard.

**2.** Click on the call you want to annotate.

**3.** Scroll to the Notes section.

**4.** Type your note and click Save.

## Best practices

* Note the outcome of any follow-up call you make
* Record whether the lead converted to a booking or sale
* Add any special requirements the customer mentioned
* Tag calls that need attention from a specific team member
